8.00am An early start for a saturday morning. Not to worry - shooting 2 Lurgan Town football matches today.
8.15 - 8.45am Check my equipment. Camera, 2 batteries, wide zoom lens for team photos, flashgun with multiple batteries, newly purchased Canon 200 2.8L (cant wait til use it for the footy), 4 gig of freshly formatted memory cards, and oh yes, camping stool, hat and gloves.
9.00am Time to walk to the Arena. The sun is coming up, not a cloud in the sky, this is going to be a glorious day for high shutter speed action photos.
9.10am Arrive at the Arena only to find the managers sending various players away due to all games being called off at 8.30 this morning, even though the Arena is totally playable.
9.25am As i write this post, the lighting outside is brilliant, making the pill even more bitter to swallow.
Winter months and Junior football dont go.
