Interim Intermediate League Cup game at Knockramer Park saw Celtic go down 2-1. I was covering the action for the Lurgan Mail.

Glenavon 0-1 Bangor

The main goal of this assignment was a picture of Glenavon new boy Davy Larmour but I decided to stay for the game.

A very frustrating evening for Glenavon as they saw plenty of the ball and had enough chances to put this game to bed in the first half. Unfortunately the longer they went without scoring it seemed almost inevitable that Bangor would grab the winner. And they did. An 86th minute winner from ex-Glenavon Marty Verner to add insult to injury.

This match should not have been played.

Following the cricket's cancellation I thought it to be a smart idea to take in Lurgan Town's game with Blackers Mill. As the title says - this match should not have been played, and rightly so was called off at half-time due to the weather. Town were 3 down by this stage.

All that aside, I managed to bag some shots with the weather actually adding to the atmosphere.

I had been given the job of covering today's Minor Cup Final between Waringstown's third and fourth elevens but unforunately thanks to some shocking rainfall the match was called off. You've gotta love the British summer!
