Boys Brigade 7's

The finals of the annual Boys Brigade 7's took place at Mourneview Park. In the under 14's final 1st Lurgan defeated Knocknamuckley 2-1, and in the under 18's Tartaraghan defeated Bluestone 5-2.

Battle of the Blues

Linfield came to Mourneview knowing that a win would almost certainly clinch the title. But Glenavon put up a gutsy performance and if it wasn't for some debatable officiating, the result may have been different. The Belfast Blues ran out 2-0 victors.

9 (yes NINE)

.........I think. I lost count after 4. Ballymacash Rangers showed up with 10 men but the 'match' went ahead. Lurgan Town (seconds) ended up romping home 9-1.

Varying light conditions led to me changing ISO's a lot, and played havoc with the white shirts. I still managed to grab some great action shots though.
